Best Guide

Deshan is the best guide you could ask for - knowledgeable, flexible, reliable, passionate and very friendly! James and I were very specific about our itinerary, and yet Deshan was able to share his love for Sri Lanka and its many hidden gems with us. We are also the types that don't like tourist traps / tourist restaurants, and he quickly observed this and gave us alternatives.

I also have never met a guide so willing to do the difficult treks with us, even hoisting me up rocks (Pidurangala) just so we could take our desired sunset shots of Sigiriya, and encouraging me in his calm and friendly way during that 3 hour 'walk' to the top of Adam's Peak to take in the breathtaking sunrise scenery. After all that he still drove 6 hours to take us to Kataragama via some local haunts.
